About Six Thirty
Ten minutes, most nights
Six Thirty is named for the time of evening when the day stops asking things of you. That is the whole idea behind the product: a small, repeatable ritual that fits into the part of the night you already have.
What we will and will not tell you
The skincare device category has a habit of promising transformation. We would rather be useful than impressive, so a few things we hold to:
- No before and after photos of strangers. Lighting, angle and makeup do most of the work in those images. We would rather explain how the device works than show you a picture you cannot verify.
- No invented reviews. When we have real customers we will publish what they actually say, including the lukewarm ones. Until then that space stays empty.
- No guaranteed results. Light therapy is well studied, but individual results vary and anyone telling you otherwise is selling harder than they are thinking. We can promise you the routine. We cannot promise you the outcome.
- No pretending your phone is ageing your face. Screens emit a tiny fraction of the blue light in the studies that found any effect, and daylight gives you far more. We are not going to invent a problem so we can sell you the cure.
What this mask is, plainly
It is a rigid moulded LED mask with seven light settings, built around red at 630nm. It runs on its own battery so nothing is plugged into the wall while you wear it. It is a cosmetic device for home use, not a medical device.
It does not have near infrared at 830nm, which several masks in the $300 to $500 range do. We say so on the product page too. If that is the feature you are shopping for, buy one of theirs.
Thirty nights to decide
If the mask does not earn a place in your evenings within thirty nights, we refund you in full and you keep it. No return label, no packing, no reason required. We would rather lose the cost of a unit than have you feel stuck with something you do not use.
